Experimenting with Node.js. Nice demo showing cursors of all the visitors (but “check your firewall, the websocket doesn’t use the port 80.”). Discussion consisted of:

  • (nearly) flame war on event-based solutions vs Erlang/Haskell solutions
  • some game ideas
  • lot’s of pointers to Node libraries/code
